Wanna see the pattern I’m obsessed with right now? Of course you do :)
Jeans. Yes. I’ve made three of these so far (and one more cut out) and they are awesome! These are the Small Fry Skinny Jeans from Titchy Threads which I was lucky enough to test.
This is my very first pair (which I finished before I figured out my new camera, so it’s just iPhone pics).
And you would never know that they are a test pattern! The fit is spot on in the 6-12 month size for my 6 month old. They are a little long, but that just means they’ll fit him for the next six months!
And seriously, is there anything cuter than pockets on a baby butt? This is a stretch twill from Fabric.com and it’s probably the funnest twill I’ve seen.
Look at that full zip fly! I was a little intimidated when I drew the full zip option to test. I’ve done them before but they always make me nervous. But I put my mind in neutral and followed her instructions exactly and it turned out perfect – score! The pattern also includes options for a half fly (with no zip – which I’ve done and it looks amazing, too), front patch pockets or pocket bags (that’s what I used), and shorts. Absolutely worth the price.
The size range is incredible – 0 months to 12 years, split into two pattern sets. I will absolutely be using this pattern for the next twelve years! The other ones I’ve finished are for Project Run & Play so you’ll just have to come back and see them then :)
