Choose a price of $32 or greater for Parcel #6 and you will automatically also be sent the Bonus Pattern! That’s only $5 a pattern. The Bonus Pattern for this Parcel is the Odette Dress by Bluegingerdoll. Vintage inspired silhouette is had two flattering necklines and a gorgeous skirt. The Odette Dress pattern goes from a size 4 through a 24!

There are six patterns in the bundle and I made three of them. Well, technically, two and a half. I made a Bronte Top, a Julia Cardigan, and an Odette skirt.

I like the look of the Odette Dress, but am more of a skirt person and didn’t want to make something I wouldn’t wear again so I used the skirt panels. There are seven panels and they make a nice, swingy, A-line skirt. I made it a few sizes bigger than my measurements called for (to make sure it would go over my hips with no zipper) and added an elastic waist band. I also pieced a band for the bottom. I shortened it by two inches and wish I had gone for four. I’m 5’2″ and it’s just a touch longer than I prefer. The best part (aside from the gorgeous fabric I found at JoAnns!) are the pockets – perfect for a phone and a couple kid’s toys!

The Julia cardigan is one of my new favorite for-me patterns! I made the 3/4 sleeve version. I think next time I’ll make the sleeves just a touch tighter – I like to push them up to my elbow and they don’t quite stay put. I used this fantastic lace knit I found at JoAnns. The only way I can think to describe it is as a sweatshirt lace! It’s two layers attached together which gives it a nice thickness. I used a light blue knit for the doubled-over hem band – that version makes this pattern so fast since you don’t have to worry about hems!

You know how sometimes, you have your husband take pictures and he doesn’t bother to tell you that you’re having a wardrobe malfunction like the back of your skirt being caught in your cardigan until the light is almost gone? Sigh…

The Bronte Top is a nice, fitted tee pattern. The lap on the shoulders gives it a nice, drapey look that is very flattering.

I am rather… blessed… in the bust area and I forgot to compensate for it. The fit is just fine, but I wish I had added an inch to the length. I may just take out the hem because it’s such a comfortable shirt! I even had the perfect wood buttons to coordinate with the skirt. The short sleeves are the perfect length and I can’t wait to make a long sleeve one for the cool weather that’s finally hit us!

The bundle ends tomorrow, so if you haven’t picked it up yet, be sure to do so before it’s too late.  All the proceeds go to help support children’s education – my son just started preschool and I can’t think of a better charity right now!

So cute!! You did an awesome job. I love all of your pieces. I think my favorite is your bronte top so you should defiantly adjust the hem. The lap neck and the buttons are so adorable! I just printed out the Julia, can’t wait to make it!
