Here is the latest pattern from Melly Sews that I got to test – Just a Jersey!
It’s a seriously cute kid’s jersey. The sleeve and back yoke are all one piece so it goes together so fast. I think appliqueing the numbers on the back took longer than the whole rest of the construction! Since the yoke is separate, the vee neck is the easiest thing in the world to make.
The sleeves have been revised a little so they aren’t so bell shaped. The pattern includes a file with the numbers in it so they are the perfect size. I made the 3/4 by shrinking the page to 50%.
I upcycled a red t-shirt and used some scrap black knit for the rest. I kind of can’t wait til Tim is in the 18 month size so they can have matching jerseys :) It won’t be long the way that bottomless pit is eating these days!
I definitely recommend this pattern!
