Jack Frost – Cosplay for PR&P

I’m so excited for this week’s PR&P theme – I had so much fun I ended up with two posts! You can check out the Guardians of the Galaxy over on CraftingCon – seriously, do it. Maegen crocheted me a baby Groot and it’s the cutest thing ever! Apparently, I’m really into Guardian-themed movies at the moment, cause I also sewed a Jack Frost outfit, Rise of the Guardians style!

He also carries a crooked staff, played here by a giant tumbleweed ;)

The sweater is a pattern that I’m working on drafting and has an over sized hood with a drawstring.

He’s definitely thinking up some mischief!

I love his little face!

I used my basic slim pants block (the same one I used for the Calvin Cargos), sewed the outer seams, and placed the straps on before sewing the inseam. They’re subtle enough that he can wear them around town and I love that they’re more interesting than basic pants!

So fun! It is such a cool outfit and doesn’t look like a costume at all. The details you added with the “snowflake” stitching on the hoodie and the straps on the pants really make it unique!
