Hobbit Cloak

I’ve had this idea in my mind for a while and finally got time to make it! Here is a picture of Elijah Wood as Frodo in his cloak. I think it turned out pretty good!

I used a lightweight fleece and my dinosaur cape pattern. I didn’t cut the spike slit down the back and curved the front so it’s more open and the front overlaps where the velcro is. I drew out the shape of the Leaf of Lothlorien and cut it out of two layers of green fleece. I used a tight zigzag to make the veins and a strip of the gray to add the curvy stem. It’s tacked on the front of the cloak in a few places.

This makes my nerdy heart so happy! I love how it turned out :)

I’ll be listing these in my Etsy shop. If there’s any interest, I may do up a tutorial, too!
