The Beagle Boys with TWSC

We love us some Crystal over here! She’s done some fantastic looks (here and here) for CraftingCon already and does not disappoint us today! You can check out the competition look over on Mae&K and scroll down for the giveaway and the linky party.

Hey!  It’s Crystal here from That’s What SHE Crafted.  When I heard about Villain month, I had to sign up.  Some of my favorite characters are villains. You can’t have heroes without them.   They are usually super complex.  They usually have a  deep rooted anger from some traumatic early life event. They are so smart, cunning and really keep  the audience in suspense….and then there’s The Beagle Boys from Ducktales.

They don’t really have much of reason of doing anything about them.  It’s simple: They want Scrooge’s money and will do what Ma Beagle tells them to.  No deep thinking needed…or used.  They were not the brightest bulbs in the fixture at times.  They bust out the dynamite and make Scrooge crazy.  But they always made me happy as a kid.
If you need a last minute Halloween costume, this is a really cool option.  You just need some jeans or blue pants, a red shirt and a green cap.  If you want to make it yourself, it’s pretty easy.  I used the Skipper top by Sew Much Ado for the shirt, The Nowhere Man Pants by Shwin Designs and the Street Kred Cap byApple+Fig.  Primary colors make for an easy costume-to-wardrobe transition.  It’s so money.

Don’t forget the felt to make a yellow prison tag and a super hero mask (or you can use construction paper if you’re in a real materials bind).  I used construction paper to make the  dynamite and the money.  Props are SO FUN- my kids had a BLAST with them….see what I did there?

Anyway this is a simple costume idea that’s sure to be DYNOMITE and STEAL the show.  Man, I’m hilarious.

How stinking cute is this?! I love it!

This month we have opened the linky party to ANY COSTUME! That includes last Halloween and this one. We are planning to leave the linky open a week past Halloween to allow for late entries, just in case you can’t get pictures of your costume until the 31st. And don’t forget, it’s ALL COSTUMES, adults as well as kids.
